# ZK circuits

## ZK circuits

Okkult uses Circom circuits with SnarkJS and the Groth16 proof system.

Different protocol actions rely on dedicated verifier contracts.

### Stack

```
Circuit language: Circom
Proof tooling: SnarkJS
Proof system: Groth16
On-chain verification: Ethereum contracts
```

### Operational notes

* Circuit correctness is part of protocol security.
* Verifier contracts must match the proving artifacts.
* Version drift can break integrations.

### Next Steps

* Review **Architecture**.
* Review **Trust assumptions**.
* Check **Audit**.
